Purpose Statement:


Ensuring all targets are met and standards are kept through hard work, diligence and team work with other Ticketing Agents according to IATA regulations and DAL policies

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist passengers with fare Quotes, reservations, revalidations, rebooking and upgrades
  • Ensure all tickets are issued correctly and according to IATA regulations
  • Reconciling cash uplift with ticket sales
  • Block group seats for series and ad hoc group as at when required
  • Issuing excess baggage receipts for excess luggage payments and MPD’s for no shows, date change
  • Providing a frontline point of presence for passenger enquiries in a friendly manner

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • This position requires a graduate with a Degree/HND or any related discipline relevant to aviation
  • A good knowledge of and/ or previous experience in the aviation industry will be an added
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills with a pleasant personality
  • Ability to work well on own initiative and adapt to changing work demands
  • Professional Expertise – intermediate Excel, Word and PowerPoint will be an added advantage
